What is an escape room?

An escape room is a real-life puzzle adventure. Your group searches for clues, opens locks, solves puzzles and tries to complete the mission within 60 minutes. You are not physically locked in. It is safe, private and family-friendly.

Is it scary?

No. It is mysterious and atmospheric, but family-friendly. No horror and no jump scares.

What age is it good for?

The Last Cabin is recommended for children aged 8 and up. Most clues and puzzles are placed around 80 cm from the floor so younger players can take part comfortably. Children should be old enough to follow instructions, help with the puzzles and understand that cables, electronics and fixed props are not meant to be pulled or moved. Younger children can join with close adult supervision, but the experience is designed to be most enjoyable from around age 8.

How many players can play?

The game is for 2-5 players. Every game is private, so only your group plays.

Do we need Danish or English?

No. The puzzles are designed to work in any language, so everyone can enjoy the experience regardless of which language they speak.

How do we pay?

You play first and pay after the experience. No upfront payment is needed. Pay by bank card or MobilePay.

Do we get hints?

Yes. Hints are available whenever you need them, so the experience stays fun and does not become frustrating.

What should we wear?

It is a real wooden cabin. Dress comfortably, like you would for a normal Bornholm activity.

Where are you located?

Kirkebyen 23, 3790 Hasle, Bornholm. There is easy parking, including motorhomes.

Can we bring a dog?

We love dogs, but unfortunately we cannot allow dogs inside the escape room. This is both to preserve the game experience and to avoid issues for guests with allergies.

Why is booking only available until 3 September?

Our current location is open until 3 September. After that, we begin preparing our move to a bigger location. We hope to reopen as soon as possible, but we don't yet know whether that will be later this year or next summer.

Is Family Adventure different from Escape Challenge?

No. It is the same escape room and the same puzzles. Only the presentation on the website is different, so families and adult groups can more easily find the information most relevant to them.

Do children aged 6 and under have to pay?

No. Children aged 6 and under play free when joining their family. They still count toward the maximum group size of 5 players. The game is recommended from around age 8.

Is the escape room wheelchair accessible?

Our current escape room is unfortunately not fully wheelchair-accessible. The room is small, so moving around comfortably in a wheelchair may be difficult. If you have specific accessibility needs, please contact us before booking and we will be happy to explain the setup.
